KAT ok, Peter mentioned one easy way to, here’s another 2 ways if you want to save space and time, once you have the new file on your device use the FILES folder of the operating system to locate it , then long press on it will open a window where you can COPY, MOVE, SHARE this file , my imported files always end up in my DOWNLOADS folder on my device , and I mainly use MOVE to transfer this file to the ST3 folder as it saves space by not duplicating the file and as long as your file names are identical name it will either paste this file immediately or it will prompt you to overwrite an existing file or it will ask you to keep both files and will change your new named file slightly, I also like using SHARE a lot because you can simply choose the software to share with and will immediately just add this file to your preferred software which is very quick to do , as you don’t need to look for any destination folders .
If you are using AIRDROP to copy from one device to another you could target the ST3 folder to be the destination of airdrop and this is super fast , as it will copy and paste the file immediately from your other device straight in to your ST3 folder of your device.
This is possible but using the downloads folder is safer if you use airdrop for other purposes.
There might be other ways but this is how I transfer files.
