Amplitude is also running on the same Mac? It depends on whether Amplitude has support for virtual midi ports. Stage Traxx will automatically send MIDI to virtual midi ports. If that does not work you could try enabling Settings > Playback Settings > Virtual MIDI Output. With this enabled, Stage Traxx can for example be selected as a MIDI input port in Logic Pro.

When I open Amplitude 5 and Traxx 3 on my iMac and I want to make a midi connection I can't.
When I select another preset from Amplitude and use Midi Learn with Traxx 3 I get the message "Waiting for Midi events" it has received a command somewhere but doesn't show it?
Have I already changed the midi input in Amplitude from IAC to Studio68c (interface) to Stage Traxx 3 or ANY nothing makes a connection with Traxx 3

I can't help with Amplitude. I am not familiar with that app. I guess setting the MIDI input to Stage Traxx 3 is necessary.

Your lyrics are wrong though. MIDI tags need to be at the beginning of a line.
