Airturn Assigning Actions

Hello, I've been using 2 Airturn pedals, (Bt500s/4, BT500s/6), simultaneously with Stage Traxx 3 app for almost a year and it's been straight forward and reliable. Set up was easy within the ST3 app; in settings/Airturn assignments, you just prompt an action title to listen for an Airturn button to assign itself to, and its done.

After many months I wanted to change one of the buttons to a different action, namely " toggle muting channel 5". It sees the pedal button pressed but the reassignment doesn't happen. So, I was going to do it within the Airturn app (still kind of inside the ST3 app), but the long menu list of options goes past the bottom of the screen and you cannot scroll that window down to reach the target.

I reached out to Airturn first and they referred me back to ST3.

Don't assign actions in Settings > Airturn Setup but instead in Settings > Assign Actions.

I have a better understanding of the issue now.

My first Airturn Pedal, BT500s-4, is assigned actions the way you recommend, and it works well. I bought the second Airturn pedal, a BT500s-6, later and tried assigning actions in the same way, but it would not execute any actions. (The field would populate with a port number from the new pedal, but that is all).

So looking around, I found the Settings > Airturn Setup, and tried to use that for the second Airturn pedal. Success! It worked! So I have had two working Airturn pedals this way. The only problem is I cannot scroll down the Airturn assignment menu, (pictured above), far enough to reach the actions I need.

I do not mind this work around because it's really great to have 2 Airturns working together. Is there any way that you can make the menu, (pictured above), scrollable?

I will add that the Settings > Airturn Setup popup window recognizes 2 different Airturn pedals....

No, I can't make that menu scrollable. I just feed the Airturn SDK a list of all controllable actions and the rendering is done in their code. I could only omit some commands in that list, but how to decide which one to omit?

My reasoning for wanting to be able to toggle Track 5 on and off is in case it becomes off sync from the first 4 tracks while performing a show. But now that I have loaded track 5 more this last week, I find it happens most of the time. So it's better to just limit myself to the first 4 tracks so the problem goes away all together. Maybe ST4 will work better for me, lol. Thank you for your time and thank you for ST3. It enables us to make some amazing strides in new areas of our musical careers! Cheers!
