I would like to take the opportunity to say thank you for your support in 2019. This year was very important for the future of Stage Traxx. To be honest about a year ago I was not sure if I can rewrite the whole application and create an architecture that will be a good base for future developments and as stable as the old version. Version 2 was simply at the limits of what was possible to achieve with that code base.
The release at the beginning of August was not perfect and there have been quite some issues but I think we have now reached a point where version 3 is on par with version 2 for most users. But the most important part is, that the architecture proves to be expandable. Since the beginning of November I am working on version 3.1 which will have some significant new features like lyrics formatting, big improvements to library management, improved UI in the player view and many more. Implementing these new features is a breeze on the new architecture compared to the old version 2 code. So I am confident that I will be able to add many more features to Stage Traxx in the coming version.
To make it short, I hope you can enjoy some peaceful and relaxed days with your families and I look forward to an exciting year 2020 where I can deliver 2 feature packed releases. Version 3.1 will most probably go into an open beta at the end of January with a release at the end of February and version 3.2 will hopefully follow about 6 months later.
