Setting up a backup iPad

Hi , this question has probably been answered over and over , it's a never wrecking time ensuring the process goes without a hitch,
I want to have peace of mind knowing I have a second iPad in hand should my main one give trouble ,
So much work and editing carried out ,
I have my second iPad set up and updated, but for some strange reason
It did not bring over my stage traxx 3 app , I went into app store in my 2nd iPad and I searched for St3 and clicked on the download tab and a blue circle spun and disappears ,it did not download the St3 app ,
please please can anyone help guide me here ..

This seems like a problem with the app store. Please contact Apple support to resolve it.

Thanks Peter, turns out my the new iPad iOS was not fully updated to latest

Peter once the the new backup iPad was fully updated Stagetraxx was there but no tracks , but I had to firstly go into my app purchases to unlock once again the full version , then I had to allow access to media library when I clicked Restore ,
but the full backups I had were a few weeks old , so I created a new full back up file and I Air dropped it to my new iPad but yes the file is there but directly under the backup file it says
WAITING , this has me puzzled
the iCloud clock is barely moving if at all
and then clicking into the iCloud and scrolling to the bottom of the screen it says 229 items syncing with iCloud
but again extremely slow ,
will I just leave it go through it's process or cancel it looks as if this could take all night

When you Airdrop a file to your iPad it asks where you want to store it. Did you select an iCloud location? If yes, you have to wait until it uploads to the cloud I guess. Better to store it directly in the ST3 folder and then delete it once you restored the file.

You will be happy to know the new iPad is finally cloned ,thanks again Peter , appreciate your quick response, I can now dry the sweat from my forehead LoL , wishing you and family a very happy Christmas and every great wish for the new year 2025, I'm sure I'll be back
