What is MIDI sends Action 1 + 2 for?

I am using STB3 for a longer time for singing to backing tracks within a live show. And I am really impressed and so happy with this app. 😍

But as I am new into MIDI programming I am wondering for what Action 1 + 2 is for and how is it working. It’s in the playback settings tab.

RichyRich081 you can assign set midi messages which can then be controlled by the assignable buttons in user interface settings and by selecting midi actions. Assign 1+2 will then appear as the 2 buttons next to the play button so you can control those midi messages at the touch of a buttonn.

Can you give me a real-world example of how to use the Actions buttons 1 + 2?

RichyRich081 I think it’s used to send midi messages manually that you might not want to send as timed messages or when a song is loaded.
You could have a vocal effect on your mixer assigned to it to turn on/off as and when needed for example.
