DiegoQ Hi Damir, sorry better, I need the ability to start random samples, in the show, between one song and another there are short musical tributes to "give" each time to a different person, a bit like taking a ticket out of a vial, like in a random draw.
Have you thought of using 1 song for all your samples by using audio segments, you have 24 audio samples you could create , so when you need to trigger them between your music place that song as next when the playing music ends yur sample song pops up and you choose the sample you need and hit play then stop choose yor next music and continue , you then have a quick flexible choice of 24 samples that can be colour coded and named, i work in ABC radio master control where we need emergency music for broadcast whenever any of our 8 different programs go to air, ST3 would be ideal for this where i can record 8 different audio segments and place them in a permanent loop , so whenever we have a problem with any broadcast i select the correct audio loop and hit play this gives me a very quick fix to put on air without much effort, but no , now i have to load one of 8 cds in to a crappy cd player wait for it to load hit play , we are sill in FLINSTONES AGE 😂😫🤪
In your case what you possibly need is the opposite, when you select a loop you just need it to play and stop, perhaps Peter could provide a switch choice in the Audio Segment editor where you can choose that behaviour , that way audio segments can be used in many different ways and not just a continuous player style , what do you think of this idea Peter?
Good luck with the solution to your need.
