Playback track sync.

Hi,
Some tracks start too soon in playback. For example, I uploaded a song with six tracks and the bass track starts too early in the playback. It should start at 11.7 seconds in the song but starts at 5 seconds in instead.

The track in question starts at the right time in my DAW and is still ok when exported and played back in the cloud, but as soon as it is imported as a multitrack song is Stage Traxx, it starts prematuraly.

I see nothing in the settings that appears diffrentaly than any other song I upload.

How do I fix this?

What you have done is you have exported your tracks as individual segments , what ST3 does is place them all at the start.
What you need to do make sure all your tracks in the Daw start at the same time and finish at the same time no matter what recording of audio is in them then export them you will not have this problem again.

Make sure all tracks start at the same time. Stage Traxx starts playback of each track at the same time. It is not possible to delay single tracks.

Thank you for your advice gentlemen but I have double checked that, and all my tracks start and stop times are OK.
I have uploaded many many songs in my band playlist and never had this problem before.

But after much head scratching I finally found what the problem was, and it is a strange one for sure.

I have two different versions of the same song (SUPERSTITION), played by two different artists (STEVIE WONDER AND STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN).
Each different version is in a different folder, but my mistake was naming the tracks in the folders the same way not realizing that Straxx won't discriminate by folder.

So I named the SW bass track "Superstition_Bass" and also named the SRV Bass track "Superstition_Bass", resulting in Straxx always using the first one uploaded in both versions even if they came from two different folders.

So the simple fix was for me to make sure the saved track names are different such as "Superstition_SW" and "Superstition_SRV" in both separate folders and that solved the problem.

Hopefully this could be useful for others to know.

Ludwig Ahah! you fell for the naming trap, that’ll do it , it’s hard enough keeping stereo tracks of different versions not to mention multitracks, glad to hear you found the cause.
