Hi Peter, i am not sure if this has changed through updates but it stood out last song i was editing.
Two things
When you have a selected segment and you grab its handle to shift the edit point it is not immediately recognised by the player as your edit point until you release the handle, this is not great as you are rushed to make a decision plus you can not hear the loop change as it will not obey that new point until you let go of the handle.
LOGIC software Loop editor is much better as it obeys the immediate point you are dragging to so you don't have to let go of the end point till you are happy with it. Now you don't know if you are happy with it because the player does not recognise it until you let go which makes no operational sense.
The other thing i noticed even though you have a loop selected and you select the play head in to this loop it wont obey the selected loop points, it just plays through the loop , you have to unselect and reselect the loop so it stays looping. This happens when you select a loop then go to another part of a song with the play head then go back to the selected loop with the play head, the loop point handles are still open but this time it wont loop.
The logic should be whenever the loop is selected and the handles are open in that loop if you choose that area with the playhead it should always still loop as the loop handles are open for editing , we should not have to exit and select this loop again to make it loop as its an unnecessary step and the loop handles are giving us a false representation of what is happening.
Cheers Damir
