I've got Stage Traxx 3 working nicely on my iPad now, thanks to your help.
Is it possible to split the screen so that I can see a chord chart or a score while the backing track is playing?
If so, how do I do this?

Sure, you can attach pdf files to songs or use plain text based lyrics. To see them during playback, tap on the song title in the mini player on the bottom of the screen. For details see here: https://stagetraxx.com/user-guide/overview/#full-screen-player-with-lyrics
