Created full backup / greyed out

Hi everyone, I'm still waiting for Peter to get back to me , but my issue is after I created a full backup I noticed when I went back into on my iPad , it's greyed out , and upon doing it a second time it started syncing with I cloud even though I do not have sync with icloud active in ST3 settings , i did find also by going into downloads and doing a search for my named backup I see a blue folder and went into that and all greyed out , can anyone please tell me where I'm going wrong , thanks

You are confusing iCloud Drive with the iCloud sync service. They are not related in any way.
Maybe your file did not finish uploading into iCloud Drive and is therefore greyed out.

peter Peter I am so sorry , I don't blame you for locking the discussion , I just got in touch with a guy who also uses ST3 and he actually called to my home and I showed him exactly what was going on , and even he could not understand why when creating the full backup it was not sitting on my iPad and greyed out , yes they were going to iCloud drive and I could make a copy and we created a folder on my desktop and dropped the full backup in here ,
so I do have a backup up now , but still on the iPad it's self it's greyed out
I know the Sync to iCloud is only used when you have multiple devices, I'm just only using the one iPad at the moment, I will eventually get to grips on this Peter I won't bring it up again I promise,

Matt07ie just a thought , perhaps you don't have enough space on your iPad so the file is there but not completed so being greyed out, i recall having similar issues ages ago and it was a space issue , sometimes i would get the file being complete but the whole backup was not done, all these issues have come good with the latest operating system and ST3 .
I know you should get a warning if thats the case but its just a desperate guess as to why its happening.

Not sure this will help, but if you google for iCloud file greyed out, you will find lots of people having this problem. Example: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/250567546?sortBy=rank

It is an iCloud Drive issue and not related to Stage Traxx. Maybe try to get in touch with Apple support. I have not seen any solutions posted on the internet.

Damir Hi again ,you,ll say oh god not him again lol, but honestly since I did last backup in January, where you again and lishy and Peter came to my rescue it worked perfectly and very very greatful for the advice and help , and by god I can totally understand for Peter , it's definitely not a ST3 issue , because the software does it's job , I will just read back over all the reply's again , but the guy that came to my home today to help firstly yes I do have loads of space and paying Apple also ,50gb of space
but anyway he went and did a backup on his iPad and saved it to the iPad and the new full backup file was there and not greyed out , even he went away puzzled why it was not happening for me , anyway long story short we did creat a full backup again and it's on my desktop computer in a safe place,
so also I have tonight purchased a refurbed iPad 9gen to put ST3 on and just have it as a backup , it may never be used but it's there if needed should anything happen the one I'm using now for my gigs ,
