How do I add tracks to ST3

Hi Peter, I've just started with Stage Traxx 3 and a new iPad. I want to know how to add backing tracks to the app. Does the full version which I bought include a library of pre-recorded backing tracks? If so, how do I access it?

walter no it doesn’t have a library. You’ll have to download them from where you get your tracks from and import them to stage Traxx from there.

And you don't need the full version to add tracks. You can add up to 6 songs in the free version.

Do I have to buy each separate track? Where do I find good quality backing tracks?

walter yes you do and there’s a few but I’ve always used karaoke version.

I also buy most of my tracks from karaoke version.

why can't I import and use tracks from itunes in my Library on my ipad. I get a notification that says: Import not possible after each song that I try to import.

I am having great difficulty in creating a playlist. I go to Playlists, create a title, and when I try to add a song by pressing the + button, it returns to Create a Title. I tried to follow your tutorial on YouTube but get stuck at this point. What do I do?

walter sounds like you are creating a new playlist. Click on the newly titled playlist and then click the + button on the bottom left to add songs.

I'm feeling a bit more confident now, thanks to your help, but I have another issue to sort out, which is that while I am playing to a backing track it disappears from my screen about halfway through and reverts to my home screen, even though the music goes on. How do I stop this happening? I want to be able to see the wave form for the whole song.

What do you mean by home screen? The iOS home screen? Or do you mean your screen turns off?
