How to get it all out of my ipad gen 9

I currently am using a lighting to camera kit with power. This connects to a 2in/4out audio interface to get 4 tracks (master l, master r, clicks, and guides) into my digital mixer. I currently use st3 to run lyrics, backing tracks, and switch all the guitar, bass, and vocal midi gear. ST3 also sends note midi to an ai light controller. How would I get this system to also do video clips? I have heard that smashcut will allow midi triggering of video clips. What would be the best way to run video out? A hub with hdmi out or...

I could also use a seperate ios device and simply connect it to the video wall. What do you guys think I should do to pull this off?

You can not use another app on the iPad to run videos because only the app in the foreground is able to access an external screen. So either you run a video app and have the videos sent to the hdmi output or you have ST3 running in the foreground which then uses the hdmi output.

So to achieve what you want you need another device and use midi to trigger video playback on that device. I have just recently released a beta version of a video player app that can be controlled via midi (over wifi) and it works perfectly in combination with ST3.
