Midi Clock Work Arounds?

Hey All,

Coming from Ableton / Macbook setup where midi clock was rock solid.

I've just set my Widi BT 6 up and found the midi clock doesn't sync well enough to keep my looper in time.

Have read thru a bunch of topics about his on the forum here yet still looking for a solution.

Wondering has anyone found a work around / a way to get midi clock working / stable?

I've also tried a wired connection from iPad into my MC6 which then passes midi clock thru to my looper, but that drifts too much too be usable also.

Will mention I am indeed loving ST3 - has made my setup much simpler / quicker etc. Great stuff! (y)

Unfortunately with the current implementation that relies on timers of the OS it is no possible to make it more accurate. A completely new architecture is needed to supply a jitter free clock. It is fine for setting delay or reverb times but it will not work for anything where you need a jitter free clock signal.
