Hi . I'm thinking of buying the app. The last app I used at gigs ,until yesterday ,was called OneTrack and you were able to use the following features:
Count in Delay ( to enable speech to audience) followed by Autostart ( on a SINGLE track rather than auto play on the FULL playlist)
Can you do this on the app?
I don't understand. You want to press play, then talk to the audience for exactly 2 seconds or how long the start delay is set and then playback should start?
Why not talk to the audience and then start playback?
And what does it have to do with autoplay?
Sorry . I haven't explained properly . So I've got a set list of backing tracks on an iPad 2 .As part of my show, after the first track there is a countdown so I can address the audience. Then when the countdown finishes ( 10 secs) - it auto kicks in to the next track so I don't have to keep turning round on stage and pressing start if you see what I mean?
suggs108 if this is not available, why not create a track that is 10 seconds of silence and then set auto play on that track? Seems to me this might work.
It's a show rather than a gig you see
Oh, I see. Delay between songs in autoplay mode is really something very special. I would also suggest to implement @coopdawg suggestion to just add 10 seconds of silence to your songs and the turn on autoplay.
Just to be clear in what I was saying; You could create new song in your audio editor at 8 to 10 seconds long and decrease it’s decibels until there will be no sound output , name that song "silence" and then insert it into your playlist before the song you wish to delay. Be sure to assign autoplay to the silent track. You would then be able to place it anywhere you need it.
coopdawg Brilliant idea!
