Hi Peter hope you’re well?? Is it possible to save the stagetraxx backup to a usb stick so it doesn’t use storage on my iPad??

Well, not directly as the backup file will always be created in the ST3 folder. But once created, you can copy the file to a usb stick in the Files app and then delete it in the ST3 folder. Don't forget to empty the trash can to free up space.
