sidneymazzei Hello, Peter! Do you have any plans on implementing multiple outputs option? Is it possible to have some kind of normalizing feature in the future? thank you very much!
peter Multiple outs is on my todo list but not planned for 3.1 and possibly not for 3.2. Normalization is already possible. Make sure to run your mp3 tracks through replay gain. ST3 will read that value and use it to set a base volume for the track.
peter Replay gain is a tag in mp3 files. It is set by some mp3 encoders or can be added later by dedicated tools which analyse the track and determine a volume adjustment to normalize the loudness. This adjustment is written to the replay gain tag which can then be read by ST3. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ReplayGain Some additional info: The replay gain standard uses a headroom of 14dB. In my experience this is too much and makes the tracks seem to have a very low volume. Therefore ST3 uses only 6dB headroom. Meaning that tracks which have a replay gain adjustment of more than +6dB will have the maximum possible track volume adjustment of +6dB in ST3. ST3 uses only the track gain value and not the album gain If you adjust the track volume in ST3, the replay gain value will no longer be used
