Can’t connect to iRig Blue Board

Hi all,
I just purchased an iRig blue board, so that I can move from one track to another using Bluetooth on Stage Traxx 3. I downloaded the app for my mobile and this works fine in conjunction with the BlueBoard, but I can’t seem to connect to Stage Traxx 3 which is on my iPad. I followed Peter’s advice, went to settings,Then switched on airturn, but whilst it scans continually it can’t seem to see the blue board and connect. Presumably I’ve done something wrong I wondered if anybody had any ideas?

richie2uk don’t think the blue board is an airturn device so it should be connected via the Bluetooth midi devices setup on ST3 instead.

Thanks, so I tried that, again, it scans but can’t see the device. All is fine with my iPhone which sees the blue board but not my iPad. Doesn’t work in settings either, it just isn’t found?

richie2uk if it can’t see it it’s likely because it’s still connected to your phone so you’ll need to disconnect it on there.

Also make sure you start the blueboard in mode B or C to act as a bluetooth device (consult the manual how to do that). It looks like you run the blueboard in mode A which needs the Blueboard app to act as a MIDI converter. Of course you can also do that on the iPad, but it is not necessary in mode B or C.

All sorted thanks. I chose C mode. Do I have to start in C mode each session, ie hold down C at the same time as pressing the on switch? And then going to settings in stage Traxx and choosing the device? Or is there a way for the pedal to remember?

No, the pedal remembers the last used setting. But you will have to reconnect it in Stage Traxx on every use.
