Remember / Save Multitrack Output settings?

Hi, wondering if there is a way to save or "remember" the Multitrack Output Settings for your interface?

In my case, I am using 8 Mono tracks, and have each output set and aligned.. If I turn off the audio interface, Stagetrax 3 re-assigns stereo tracks and I have to redo this. In the studio, not a problem but in a live situation, perhaps the USB cable to the IPAD comes out, or something else gets plugged into the Dongle, it re-enumerates and forgets it's settings.. so I have to go re-align.. Wondering if there is a way/method to "remember" or quickly restore the Output Settings? Maybe remember the Audio Interface and when its' seen, use last known settings?

Multitrack assignments are remembered for each interface you have. Please give me more details about your setup. Which interface? Connected to which device? And wich iOS version? A screenshot of your audio routing settings would be great.

Hmm.. I've tried with several Audio Interfaces.. so maybe IPAD IOS version.

Current Interface is Allen & Heath CU 12T, but same results with Presonus Studio 1810c, Presonus 1818VSL..

IPAD is newest Pro ith M4 chip / IOS 17.5 (21F84)

I just tried it again..

I can send pics/video but here are my steps:

Turn on IPAD, Turn on A&H CU12T
Load ST3, goto Settings/Audio Routing
It shows all interfaces assigned as:
Stereo Song Output CQ12T - Audio 1
Track Output 1 - CQ12T - Audio 03/04
2 - 05/06
3 - 07/08
etc..

I then set to:
Stereo Song Output - Disabled
Track Output 1 - CQ12T - Audio 01
2 - 8 (aligned)

Pull the cable or shut off and turn on A&H CU12T

and it's back to the initial as above and I have to redo it.

** I will now also try this using my MacBook Pro M2 running Sonoma 14.5 Beta and let you know..

just tried on my MacBook.. 14.5 Beta

Same results.. I have to re-do my Audio Out Cfg each time I plug in.

I just tried to reproduce it with the steps you wrote with a 4-channel Behringer UMC204HD Interface and everything is restored when the interface is reconnected. That's on iOS 17.5.1.

Please send me your logfile (from the iPad with the screenshots) via Settings > Create Support Email.

Peter, it's my cable!! I just swapped to another cable and it's working as you said. Crazy that it does work with the other cable but can't remember it's settings.. but with my changed cable, it now does...

That's really strange. I looked at your log files and could not see anything out of the ordinary. But good to know that the USB cable can cause issues like this. I know that faulty usb cables would cause issues like nothing playing although it would look fine in the audio routing setup.
