I have watched the video where Peter explains there are multiple volumes in ST3 but still have a couple questions. I plan to use an iPad to trigger the tracks but am waiting on the mount to arrive in a couple days. For last nights gig, my first time using ST3, I used my iPhone 14 Pro to run the tracks. By default the volume you see when clicking the settings button is at 50%, right in the middle (or that was where my phone volume was at that time). I had adjusted the volume coming from the board during a sound check based on that volume level coming out of the phone. Between the sound check and start of the gig I had turned my volume on the phone up all the way at some point. When I started the first song the tracks were blazing loud. I did not realize that the phone volume was tied to the app. All the other volumes, Playlist, Song and Queue, are all at 0db. So it doesn't seem to matter where you set any of those because it will get changed by the volume in Settings. Is there a way to not have the volume in the phone linked to the volume in Settings or have the app over-ride the phone/iPad volume?
The other issue I had was that for some reason when I started a track the first couple of clicks were so quiet I couldn't hear them and then the last couple would be audible and I missed a couple starts as a result. I know the volume of each click is the same so that isn't the issue. I am using a floor monitor and not in-ears. I ended up just raising the level coming into the monitor in order to catch all the click ins. I've been searching to see if there is some setting in the iPhone that automatically fades in the volume when playing an audio file but haven't found anything yet.
Thanks in advance.
