Fade ins

I am going to buy the full version but I have noticed that the fade In does not seem to fully work.
I have a count in for some piano backing tracks,and I want about a 3 second fade in To get rid of the count in,but it seems to fade in when the track is playing although the count in has been recorded as part of the track before the music starts.
Any reason why this should be

I don't understand the issue. If you enable the fade in, it will do a linear fade in with the selected fade time starting at the time you selected to start the song. So play around with the start time and fade time to get the fade you want.
