right just got a new ipad pro 12in .loaded a backup from my pro 11in .no problems the idea is to use the 12in has main ipad and use the 11in pro has a client. no problem connecting .now the 12in is much bigger so altered all my font sizes to 35size instead of the 30size on the small ipad now heres where the problem comes in, set my client pad to use own lyrics . . but when i send the lyrics from the 12in pad, all the lyrics are showing has 35 font size this causes the lyrics to go off the end and bottom of the screen on the client pad with the block time codes i use. even though its using its own lyrics. not good.?????? problem 2 the side bar with the song order on wont auto retreat to show full screen lyrics while the song is playing, this means client has to do this manually .to see full screen or song bar .which the client needs to pick which song he the host wants to do next [we both sing half the show each] so why is the client pad not mimicking on network??????? cheers dave

EDIT: I just checked the code: When you opted to show local lyrics, it will also use the font size used for local lyrics. Are your devices maybe synced via iCloud? In that case, changing the font size on the bigger iPad will also change it on the smaller. You can adjust that with Lyrics > Device Font Size Modifier which is a setting that is only stored locally.

Regarding the auto hiding of the song list: I guess this is another bug. If the user enabled the option to auto hide the song list during playback on the client, it should also respect that setting when connected to a remote host. I will also fix that in the next update.

hi peter thanks for the quick reply . the ipads are not connected to iCloud i don't use the syc iCloud option and auto hide is enabled on both iPads has is use local lyrics .i use a router on local network only so it cant connect to cloud anyway ..and i only use song mode .not play list or queue

I just tried to reproduce issue 1. If I select to show local lyrics on the client iPad, it will use the font size of the iPad. If I select to show the lyrics from the hosting iPad, it will show the font size of the hosting iPad. That's exactly how I want it to work.

So play around with the device font size modifier on the client if the font size of lyrics from the host is too small or too big. You can do that with the pinch gesture while being connected to the host.
