WildOwl Morning - really loving the app and a bit of a learner! I am using Stagetrax with my MODX7 and new Behringer XR16 and will be using in a trio with selective backing track stems & click track stem (using L/ centre/ right panning as per advice on You Tube for monitor mix.. Unlike the ‘out of my budget’ XR18 the XR16 does not have an AI. When I hook up from iPad Pro to the MODX USB port I only see Disabled, MODX 01, 02, 03, 04, MODX 01/02 and MODX 03/04 as options on the ‘Select Main Output’ page. On Peters video he has his MODX hooked up which shows that on Multitrack Routing he has the ‘Off, Main Out and Aux Out’ options - I don’t have those options and only see the MODX 01, 02 etc as listed above? Any advice appreciated - thank you.
peter Those options are from an old version of ST3. The current version has a new routing system. So what you see is also what I see with my MODX.
WildOwl Thanks for quick reply Peter - so does this still allow me to route click tracks separate to main track? I guess I treat MODX 01/02 as left and MODX 03/04 as right and balance each of the 8 tracks to suit? Sorry if that seems a silly question!!
peter No, the MODX has only one stereo out but 2 virtual outputs 1/2 and 3/4. So you could seperate the click on the connection into the MODX but from there you have only one stereo out.
