External monitor malfunction

Hello all,
I am trying to get ST3 to display on an external monitor in portrait mode. First, I turn on Screen Mirroring in iPadOS 17.3. Opening up ST3, I see it fine but cannot rotate the screen. When I switch on Lyrics on External Screen, the monitor goes blank after a second or two. I got it to stay on by fiddling with the starting order but the rotation has no effect. Is there any way to troubleshoot this or is it a bug?

Screen mirroring is all handled by iOS itself. ST3 only has control over the external screen when you switch on the show lyrics on external screen feature. If the monitor goes black, your song has no lyrics. You can rotate the monitor by the rotate setting in ST3.
