Won't overwrite files in multitrack song

I'm trying to update the bass and drum files for a multitrack song but something is going wrong and the file is not being overwritten.
I navigate to the file and select it but the message to say that it is adding the file flashes up very quickly - it usually takes a second or two.
The names of the files change and the EQ resets but it is still playing the old file.

This is a song I have duplicated... Does that make a difference?

Don't worry.
I just had to delete the old files from all duplicates and it's accepting the new versions now.

I have to rename edited files or it will pretend to import, but play the same version.
How did you delete the old files?

Midimannz Swipe left on the file name to delete it.

You can just overwrite the existing file in the Files app. No need to reimport the file into Stage Traxx or delete any existing file within Stage Traxx.

Thanks, Peter. I'm new to this iPad thing and Stage Traxx so I've only just found that folder 🙂

peter Where are the lyrics files or are they treated differently?

Lyrics are stored in a database and not in files.
