Sending midi commands to QSC touch mix 16

I was wondering if it's possible for me to be able to send midi commands to change scenes on my touch mix 16?. I tried to connect but when I go into Stagetrax3 midi connect screen , where it shows the device and a check mark it doesn't show my touch mix, shows my hx stomp and Roland piano but not the touch mix. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks,

You connect it via USB right? In that case it will show up in the midi port list if the device is compatible to iOS. I have no idea whether the Touchmix MIDI over USB is compatible to iOS.

So I am able to change scenes on my TouchMix 16 with a midi foot switch, but I can't get it to work by sending a midi command from stagetrax 3. Is there any work around possible? Maybe like sending to a command from stagetrax 3 to a foot switch first and than to TouchMix?? or am I dreaming?

How do you connect a midi switch to the TouchMix? I don't see a midi port on that mixer. While at it, I don't even see a usb port. Only 2 usb host ports but these can not be used to connect a computer or an iOS device.

Oh, So the 2 usb host ports won't work with a computer but will work with a midi switch? Does that make sense Peter?

Yeah. You might try to plug in a usb midi interface and then use another usb midi interface connected to your iPad. Might work.
