Simple text tool for pdfs?

I love the app, fantastic, who many details it has. I look all the turials for the 3rd or 4th time, and understand/use more and more Just a litte question: is it possible to add a text editing tool for PDF editing? My writing with fingers on the iPad Screen looks bad. I only need little text boxes to write into, no detailled formatting, maybe just text colour and font size.

Why use PDF? It’s much easier to just use the Text editor to simply write the info you mentioned.
PDFs are only good if you need notation and absolute ease to scribble anything down just like a piece of paper, but PDFs also have great limitations and setup complexity.
Try both and see what suits best before you commit to one as it might save you time in the long run.

I use a pencil to annotate PDF documents. That works quite well in ST3. And you don't need to buy an overpriced Apple pencil. I have a cheap one for 15 Euro that works really well.

Thanks for your answers. I'll buy a pencil, that would be the easiest way. I am coming from forscore, where I organize over 2500 chordsheets as pdfs, which are already on my iPad. But as Damir wrote, I'll switch to text-based chords, for my collection of backingtrack-songs, which I use with stage-tracks. So it is easier to transpose - without a pencil. A lot of my songs are german, it is not easy to find them correct in the web. There it would be easier/faster to use the existing pdfs.
