Manual editing MIDI commands on iPad does not work

When I manually edit MIDI commands on my iPad, Stage Traxx ignores them. Adding MIDI commands with the MIDI button function in the editor works well. But when I copy / paste or change them with the editor, my HELIX Stomp does not react. When I do the same with Stage Traxx on my Mac Mini, it works perfectly. Also if I synchronize a lyrics sheet that has been edited on my Mac Mini, it works on the iPad. So anything wrong with the iPad editor?

I’ve been doing a bunch of edits today and they work from my iPad so perhaps I can offer a suggestion.
Firstly [midi: PC12.2@2] just about covers it, extra commands need a comma
Like this

[midi: PC39.2@2, PC14.1@3]. For two devices or ….,.
[midi: PC39.1@1,CC115.0@1,CC117.0@1] for a long command on one device

The word Midi should be lower case and needs a space before the program change message
Make sure your midi gear is set to receive on the correct channel

Thanks for your reply. The MIDI command I am using is nothing special. The HELIX STOMP reacts on simple PC commands:

[midi@00:09.42: PC8@4]

Channel 4 is correctly setup on the HELIX. The funny thing is, if I am producing the command with the MIDI button of the editor - all good. When I am typing in the same command manually - it does not work. Maybe important to mention, that I am using Apple Magic Keyboard on my iPad.

The command you posted looks good. Did you copy & paste it from the lyrics editor?

Now it works for me. No idea in anything has changed on my setup- but all good now. Thanks a lot for following up on it.
