Respectfully Peter, I have literally thousands of pdf chord charts that would have to be formatted outside the program to maximize screen real estate inside the program, for which you wont be able to tell how it is displayed other than trial and error. Typical Chord Charts will include lots of information not needed for the performance such as Artist, time sig, bpm etc. They usually include a header and a footer also. This is the reason most chord chart software includes a full moveable crop function and even the ability to delete a page entirely and rearrange them. Im sure there are others whom are using pdfs would agree. Those using the other Chord pro format wont care. Here is an attachment of my Ipad pro and you can see how much wasted space is there after the margin cropping...
