Hi Peter, here is a thought regarding the playlist volume adjustment logic.
I have found the existing system limiting, as you are playing through a playlist and the volume is already set and all is well, if you then go to choose another setlist and select a next song within this playlist you do not have capability to see this new playlists volume and you have no capability to set this new playlists volume before you go to it, my though is if i go to see another Playlist it means i am interested to see everything about it so i can safely mix to the new song within this playlist but because the logic now is you dont get the volume displayed untill you select a song within this playlist, this is not great if you are auto mixing from one to the other you have no idea what volume you might get.
Yes if you are simply choosing a playlist and selecting a song then you get the playlists volume thats correct but my feeling is if i choose a playlist i should immediately see and be able to readjust the volume of the playlist as well so i dont fly blind in to it.
Does this make sense?
Heres a simple example, i am performing on my existing playlist and i want to now mix to the next song that is in my background music playlist i go to the playlist i choose the song but the last time i used this playlist was as a DJ and the volume of this playlist is now at full volume but this particular gig i need the background music to be real low, i have no means to check the volume of this playlist yet i am blindly mixing to it because there was no way i could see it actual volume when i was selecting the new song and surprise,surprize! The background music becomes a very loud blast to the audience , only because i had no idea to what was about to happen due to lack of true visual monitoring or control of next song in a different playlist.
Reguest is if the volume fader changes to the playlist selection so you are actually controling what you see on selection screen and not what is playing, what you are playing should have already been tweaked to perfection now you are looking for next song , let us be able to see and tweak that as its the next important thing.
