Changing PDF file possible?

PDF question: Is it possible to change a PDF file for a song? I have some songs with pdf-chordsheets, but I would like to change these pdfs to better versions. If I try to do this, it always opens the pdf-edit window. I can't change the pdf or delete the existing one (to open the new). I work on a MacBook Air with version 3.8.6.
I edit time-code-based scrolling pdfs like described in the video. Works fine, but I have a problem. The pdfs are parted in 10 segments. I have a pdf that shows at the beginning p1 and p2 on my screen (I suppose so, because editing p2 causes no scrolling). At the bottom of the screen 2 text-lines are not shown from a song-part. When I edit p3 the pdf scrolls up, but the two text lines from the screen before (p1 +2) now are missing at the top.I f I scroll manually show fullscreen everything is ok.

You can delete (swipe left) the current file and then load the new or replace the file directly with the Files app.
I'm not sure I can follow. So you have a command to show p2 at a certain time but the app does not display the top of page 2?

peter Sorry, I didnt write correct. With p1, p2 and so on, I meant the part/segment of the page. So I had write: p1.1, p1.2, p1.3. But first I will compare the macbook behaviour with my iPad. Maybe the time-codes have be set in relation to the screen size. Thanks for your patience.

Yeah, you need to tweak it a bit to get the desired outcome.
