PLAYLIST VOLUME SETTING

If individual songs in Playlist have variousvolume settings (ST3 app volume setting), will this setting override single song setting?
If songs are entered into Playlist and each song has, natively, different volumes, this variance in volume throughout Playlist will still manifest, irrespective of ST3 "Playlist Volume" setting, correct?
Finally, if this is documented in manual please indicate so and I will go to manual and apologize for this question in this forum. (I briefly looked)

MAXX hi Max, think of it like this, ST3 playlist volume is like having a big audio mixer where all your songs are your Chanel strips and the volume is that songs Chanel fader, and the playlist volume is your master fader setting on the mixer called group volume, once you change the playlists the only thing that changes is you group volume fader settings all the other channel faders/songs are always the same in all playlists or in song mode , so it’s basically a large mixer where the group volume settings get remembered by playlists . Then you have your absolute master volume setting which is in your settings or on your devices buttons.
If you change your individual song volume it affects all playlists using that song , the idea is you balance your volumes in songs then leave them alone , you then setup the playlist volume to suit the requirement ie background music verses performance level , once you are happy with all playlist volumes and song volumes you use the master volume to get the overall level you need to go to PA system.
So ST3 is actually a beast of a mixer that’s very flexible once you understand in how it works.

Damir l solved this issue.
I found my lightning to USB 3.0 adapter and that "powered up" my DAC.
Then, in ST3, the DAC was recognize as appropriate !
Interestingly, my samsung fold 4 powered up the DAC but my older ipads nor my iPhone pro max 13 would not!
It required the adapter which I find interesting as the adapter was not plugged into power. I guess some voltage/current/impedance transformation occurs and makes it compatible.

Update: still working this but no problem with ST3.
The dac is not getting " powered up" with just lightning to usbc input into dac so it's not recognized
I plugged the dac into Samsung USB c phone and did power up.. same with my Mac

I'm assuming I can use the lightning adapter that will provide an input to probity sufficient power AND a data "pass through " connection into my dac.

At the moment, I can't find the adapter.... may need to buy another

It would be great if someone could confirm that this will "do the trick" !

Most often you can make DACs and audio interfaces work by using a powered usb hub between iPad and interface. Usually it is a power issue.

Years ago i bought a $3300 power book pro 17 inch , top of the range shit, it would not show my audio interface, i bitched to apple and they almost had me convinced it was my audio interfaces fault , so i butchered a usb lead and inserted a current meter to see what exactly what was going on , you are suppose to be able to draw 500 milli amps out of the laptops usb ports this is quite a common thing with all devices, i found out this expensive power book could only deliver 350 milli amps and my device needed 450 milli amps so it could not be found because of lack of power on the very expensive Poerbook Pro , so i bitched again to apple and had to phisically show the shop technicians they were lying with their specs , i eventually got a replacement Laptop as they were aware of this issue but kept it silent from dumb customers , so from there on i dont trust anyone, read the specs and find the actual cause , you might be surprized the outcome.
