I’m considering upgrading to iOs 13 on my gigging iPad Mini (currently still with ST2 for a while) but I wondered if there’s any possibility that a second and third iPad using iOS 12 may have a problem when in a session. I really don’t need a glitch in the middle of an event.

You mean in a network session? That should not make any difference. As far as I know there are no changes in iOS in regards to multipeer networking. But I will try it when version 3.0.5 which is currently in review by Apple is released.

On a similar line (don't want to open a thread for this) is ST3 ok with the iPadOS dedicated to the pads which Apple is releasing soon ?
No big issue for me having iOS 12 or 13 or whatever as my mini iPads are exclusively for Stage Traxx

Yes, ST3 works fine with version 13 of iOS and iPadOS.
