peter Why not select the next loop when playback has already paused? I mean you see where the playhead currently is. Just tap on the next region to select it then.
That gives me an unnecessary extra step I really should not have , I have enabled stop at end of loop that’s one step I have also clearly stated I want a particular loop next and it’s highlighted that’s another step, so why should I have to do this again after the stop which creates a false visual representation and it gives me more to do when I have already done it , the logic of stop at end of loop should just do it’s job and once it is done it should obey what the user has already told it to do instead of obeying this command after it plays the next loop which is not what was asked, if i don’t use this feature then it works fine it does what I want, so I would say a bit of logic has gone missing with this addition. I also have a different perspective on this new feature which I will point out in another thread.
At the moment it works but for a very narrow minded purpose and will suit a few people , I would like it to suit a majority of users by changing its logic and giving it a very powerful impact to the audience with simple operation.
I use STOP in PAUSE mode so I can pause wherever I feel like it’s the appropriate moment to involve the crowd by enabling this feature it disables that capability and forces me to end only at the end of loop , this is ok for some but very limited for others I think I would rather be able to stop whenever I like and use my visual metronome to guide me to my next selected loop to continue than to enable this feature that fixes your end point which might not be appropriate in the song where the peak excitement is where you really needed to pause.
So I will suggest some ideas in another post as it is a bit more involved.
