Tim Have you tried turning off 'Sync with iCloud'? It messed up my data, and I turned it off because it only gave me trouble. I do manual back ups only, that gives me full control.

Tim turn off your iCloud on all devices and use the full backup old method airdrop of syncing your devices till you fully understand how iCloud works and its limitations and problems.
I don’t use iCloud with my 4 devices as it doesn’t perform how I want it so my solution was to turn it off.
I believe this is also probably your problem.

Tim what do you mean download folder?

A download folder exists on all your devices it is where any data goes when you download stuff from the net and I use it when transferring stuff with airdrop you can find it in FILES folder of devices.
It’s a good temporary storage area

Turn off iCloud sync on all your devices, delete the iCloud Stage Traxx 3 database by opening for example iPad Settings, tapping on your name on top, select iCloud and then manage storage. Here you can delete Stage Traxx 3.

On iPad/iPhone reinstall the app, restore your purchase and then load the last backup you made.

On Mac, delete the app, then delete the folder ~/Library/Containers/Stage Traxx 3. Then reinstall the app, restore your purchase and load the last backup.

The only problem is i havent regained my storage this time . so im going back to before my purchase date to restore my mac book air then ill try everything else

So I deleted that folder which was absolutely full with over 3000 files which im assuming was backing up to that folder all my songs over and over again. I deleted the folder and my storage issue is resolved . how do I keep this from happening again?
I have over 800 song in the app.

The only thing I can think is every time it would sync it added the songs to this folder over and over again .

So I got my storage back on my macbook by deleting the folder you told me to. So now I want to make a backup on my ipad so that when i redo the app on mac book air I can use the latest backup from my Ipad but where does the backup go to?

You are prompted for a location to store the backup when you create it.

So, like I said, before once I deleted that one folder in my library in Stage Traxx 3 my storage all came back on my MacBook so I was going to try to do the same thing that you told me to go to my iPad and make a manual back up but my storage says I have 25 gigs but when I go to do a back up at says I do not have enough space I do not have six gigs worth of space to do a back up so please tell me what folder might be doing the same thing on my iPad in the library, that was doing the same thing to my MacBook

If I delete the iCloud storage on my iPad for Stage Traxx 3, will that delete all my information on Stage Traxx 3?

Tim no as long as you turn iCloud sync off in ST3, also make sure you go to your files folder and empty your BIN otherwise all your deleted files are still hogging the hard drive space until you empty the bin.

Something seems to be wrong with ST3 and iCloud sync.

I updated an audio file on my iPad and performed an iCloud sync. I then opened ST3 on my iPhone and started a sync to get the update audio file into ST3. However, my iPhone is not updating the audio file and displays an error message saying file not found. Please restore this file or delete the song.

Furthermore, when I do a sync on my iPad the ST3 storage can balloon up to more than double of what it should be and cause my iPad to run out of storage. Why is that? I have about 10gb of audio files on my iPad. When I first start my iPad I have over 33gb free of space. Even just opening ST3 the iPad file storage for ST3 starts growing double or more in size.

Each time I try to sync with iCloud ST3 takes up more space on my iPad and eventually I run out of space. I have to reboot my iPad to get back to normal level of storage used.

Strangely as I was just completing this message my iPhone and ST3 updated the missing file on it's own.

I disabled iCloud sync and deleted the iCloud data and now ST3 is taking up only 10.34gb of space on my iPad. With iCloud sync disabled ST3's files size does not start to increase and take up additional storage on my iPad when I open the app. Is what I am seeing normal? If so, is there a way to prevent what was happening while still using iCloud sync?

iCloud sync is a great feature to keep my iPhone as a backup in case the iPad goes down at a gig but if storage is going to get dynamically taken up then this could be a pain.

Any help is appreciated.
