I am a long time OnSong user and have just loaded all my tracks and lyrics into ST3 on my iPad. I am getting to grips with most things however I am really struggling with scrolling control.

I am using an iRig Blueboard and have successfully assigned the switches. Two switches are for half page scroll up and half page scroll down. When the track is NOT being played I have perfect control up and down, however when the track is playing my controls just “bounce” the view up or down depending on which switch I use and the scroll overrides my commands.
I am hoping, as with OnSong, that there is way to use the normal scroll facility and just fine tune it via footswitch when necessary. Assigning timestamps to over 300 songs fills me with dread!!

You need to enable Manual Scrolling Override in Settings > Lyrics & PDF if you want the view to stay at your selected position.

Thanks Peter, I have tried your suggestion. It works fine when the track is not playing however once playback and autoscroll starts I lose my Blueboard half page up and half page down control. My work around is to assign the pedal to increase and decrease scroll speed. This gives me more control during playback but means I have to "tap dance" fairly regularly!
It would be so much more controllable if I could disable auto scroll and manually start/stop scroll and alter pages up or down during playback from my Blueboard, much as I have been doing with OnSong. Perhaps this is a feature that could be added at a later date. If it is already there somewhere, I can't find it! Everything else with the app is really good and suits me well.

I think this is more an oversight. If the option is selected it should also apply to remote actions. I will fix that in version 3.8.

In the meantime you could disable automatic scrolling completely.

Okay Peter, thank you. I will look forward to the revision.
