Variables Page Suggestion

First, I would just like to say, thanks for the app, its fantastic, and finding the new Assign midi action features very useful. (I am bouncing midi messages from one bluetooth pedal to my main effects pedal because the bluetooth pedal is more portable for practicing at home)

Have you considered in General settings having a Variables Page where I could set up,

for example…

#CleanSound=PC12.0@1
#Distortion= PC01.0@1

So that in Lyrics pages I could have….

[midi@play:#CleanSound]

so if for some reason, i change my pedal settings, i can update a single global page and know that all songs are changed.

Interesting idea. This might be something for version 4.

This is a great idea! If your hardware situation changed at all, it would be simple to update a global variable rather than find every instance in the lyrics section of every song. This would also be super helpful to use for lighting cues or really anything else using midi.

I like it! I am working through all my songs and adding page turn commands right now. If I would have to reassign the note/command in lyrics for everyone because of a hardware change that would be a huge headache. Up vote from me.
