Separating songs into different band library for playlist creation

Hi team Peter and the wonderful ST3 group
Just wondering how other’s do this?
If playing in different bands what are your preferred methods of calling up tracks easily for particular bands or purposes to make a playlist? In OS when I used that they had separate library “books” you could call from so as to zero in on the right tracks to quickly draw up a playlist for that particular band.
Any thoughts on something similar in the ST3 database breaking it down for playlist creating or is there already a quick method I am missing?

BrianL hi Brian, you have various options, I use them all to suit my needs,
Firstly you could colour code your songs to suit each band , then you could use Artist column to place your band names this allows you to easily group and find your required band songs in SONG mode, or create playlists for each band and load only the appropriate songs, or use the filter function and place your different band names in to the filter function and just select the band in the filter to get your required songs, that’s four methods I can think of perhaps there are more but I use all four to quickly find songs to suit my needs.

Thanks for the great suggestions and I will probably go with the key word suggestion for sure thanks that’s a great idea.
Peter I wasn’t sure if In the future the database of songs was perhaps able to be sorted or divided up in any other way for selection of songs for creating playlists but I reckon Damir’s methods suggested here will be just fine.

What other way do you mean? Especially the keyword mechanism is very powerful and lets you organize the content whatever way you prefer.

I have been playing around more with the keyword search mechanism as suggested above and can see it will definitely help with what I would like to achieve with the song list selection for differing bands thank you.
