Pacer Nektar midi to iPad via MacOS

Hope this makes sense I have an external pedal which operates perfectly between ST3 on my Mac. I have now linked via cable from my iPad Pro to my Mac which enables me to play audio from ST3 resident on my iPad Pro via my audio interface and send midi messages to Gig Performer. Is there a way - virtually, to send control messages from my Pedal board to the iPad Pro in the same way as I do to the Mac (ST3 - sort of a reverse action as it were)? I am trying to avoid using a Bluetooth sender from the pedalboard directly to the iPad (ST3).

I think you could try to setup a midi network with the app midimittr on the iPad. On the Mac you don't need an app for that. You can set it up in the audio midi utility. I can't give you details but you should be able to google it.

Blinking heck - I trust everything you do Peter - and again you have come up trumps. Midimittr works right out of the box. I had to download the Macos version for USB and was gobsmacked after clicking three switches - it worked like magic. I thought I was going to have to rely on Duet Air for viewing Music scores in Portrait Mode for ever - Now I have a native version of ST3 on the iPad Pro, in Portrait, no latency - obviously AND I can now play audio into Gig Performer which allows me to EQ in realtime. I have already donated to Matthias Frick, I would like to show you the same gratitude

Thanks. For a long time, I plan to add a tip option in the in app purchases but I somehow never get around to it. But I will try to finally get it done in version 3.8 🙂
