Diable Audio Over USB

Currently using Stage Traxx 3 on my iPad. Sending backing tracks audio out through the headphone jack to a mixer via direct box, and sending midi commands to my Line 6 HX Stomp via the lightning port over USB. Midi works great, but the audio is also being transmitted over the USB to the HX Stomp and merged with my guitar output. How can I suppress the audio from being sent through the USB? It is preempting the audio out through the headphone jack. Not sure if there is a setting in the Stage Traxx 3 app or my iPad; haven't been able to find one in either place. Help!

I had a similar issue with my Quad Cortex, I ended up buying a Bluetooth Widi Jack to avoid having to use USB and it works great. I think if you plug the USB in first and then the headphone jack second, the audio will route to the headphone jack but not overly reliable.

If you connect a device that acts as an audio interface to iOS, it will always be used for sound output. The only way to prevent that is it use the Combined Headphone & USB setting in Stage Traxx if you have a device with a real headphone output. Then you can select where the signal from ST3 is sent to.
