Stage traxx receiving external MIDI Clock

I have a setup where the MIDI Clock master is a Midronome. It would be great if Stage Traxx could sync to an external midi clock rather than being only the master

But what should it do with that information? Automatic speedup / slowdown of the playback? That's generally not possible with multitrack files and might produce unexpected results (for example with large midi jitter) for stereo playbacks.

I see your point. Main purpose I see is making the start/stop totally aligned with the clock sonit matches a beat. If not, some external sequencers directed with the dedicated midi clock are out of sync. So it would be rather than syncing to a clock, make the start/stop match the clock as per the tempo of the clock sync.

That will not be possible. You always have a latency with midi and Stage Traxx does also add more latency especially when starting playback. And following the clock signal might cause lots of small seek operations during playback (whenever the master clock deviates by a certain amount compared to the player clock) which would be very audible.
