Hello,

Is there a way to set the chord and lyric timing inline so they both run to timing eg
[00:10.00][C]Hello [00:20.00][D] world [00:22.00][F] [00:24.00]

Maybe this can already be done and I am doing it the wrong way. It would make the app way more useful to me

Regards
Paul

It does not work with inline chords though as these are split up into a seperate line which can not be handled by the highlighter.

But it works fine if you omit the chords.

    Thanks for the reply,

Can you give an example for a few lines as no matter what format I try to put it in all chords for the given line highlight at the same time

Is this something that you could add to the interpreter. It would take this app to the next level in functionality

    Regards
    Paul

This works if you want to highlight certain chords (without lyrics) in a single line:

    [00:10.00]C [00:20.00]D [00:22.00]F [00:24.00]

The current layout system is not able to handle the case where the same timecode is used in more than 1 line. I don't think I can add this feature without a whole new way to do highlighting. Maybe in version 4.

    2 years later

Maybe on version 4, when adding chord charts with lyrics give us the option under lyrics to allow chords, then have the highlighter light the current row plus one. and then move the cursor down two rows. we would need to ensure that there are no blank lines, sort of how ultimate guitar prefers to do chords.

Is this really a thing showing chords below the lyrics line? I have honestly never seen that. Always chords above lyrics.
