A couple small Feature Requests

I'm starting the process of sending MIDI commands during songs to coordinate Quad Cortex patch changes. I think it would be great to have:

add comments, like // change to SOLO patch - these would not show up in the lyrics view, just comments for yourself to understand it better
show a midi tag in the lyrics view, indicating that some MIDI programming is going to happen at a given point in the song (including when the song is loaded)

And while I'm at it, I keep looking for an assignable action to toggle the player view. I'd like to trigger this from a MIDI controller if possible.

It would be nice to be able to control the volume as a single assignable control that uses the value parameter (like a fader or rotary control). Right now if I assign a rotary knob to Increase Volume, turning either direction increases the volume.

Great news! makes sense about volume, but would love to see something here. Maybe:

midi volume changes override whatever is set in the song until you dismiss / load another song
OR midi volume changes eventually persist to the song (sounds like this would be undesirable to some)

Perhaps this could be resolved by having 2 volumes, one global volume that is controllable via MIDI and one per-song volume that is saved to level-match your songs in one set list.

Hm, interesting idea with the global volume. Why didn't I think of that? 😉

I guess that would be the best option. You could just control the global volume with your midi slider and that would not interfere with carefully programmed song volumes.
