Toggling Between Lyrics and Pdf

thanks Peter for the hard work. I see other folks have asked for the ability to toggle between text lyrics and Pdf within the same song. that is a very practical feature that many would benefit from. please keep up the great work. this is probably the best app I own!

How would you toggle between those two? I‘m open for good suggestions 🙂

One idea would be to swipe left or right from the pdf to go to the lyrics or vice versa. Or add another little button that might read “see text lyrics” when on pdf or “see pdf” when on text lyrics. Or something like that. Thanks.

Swipe left right would work going from lyrics to pdf but not back as that gesture is already in use to move within a pdf document.

Hmm good point. Perhaps putting toggle in the "Song Properties" icon to toggle between PDF/Text. Something like Display: Text Lyrics or PDF?

Just wanted to reply to you both @peter and @Fritzers to give a +1 for this!
I’ve just recently purchased Stage Traxx after trying it out. I tend to make myself some “cheat sheets” for each song on my iPad as PDF, but it would be great to be able to keep the lyrics too and switch between.
From what I can see, once you’ve added a pdf, there doesn’t seem to be a way to view the lyrics in the play view? Is that right?
I think it would be great to be able to map a midi button or similar to switch between the two!

Recently purchased this great app. Have been using PDF all the time, but am setting up a library with both PDF and lyrics so that when I do transpose/pitch shift, I would be able to see the latest chords (in lyrics). Would vote for a simple switch, when it's "on", show PDF; when it's "off", show lyrics.

1 more ask for PDF, can we type? somehow it's not easy to write properly, esp when using Mac version...

Version 4 will have text annotations for PDF and you will also be able to switch between lyrics and pdf.
