Text editor not showing up

I just bought Stagetraxx and use my Imac as the main platform. I want to put lyrics with the songs. When i open "edit text", and click in the frame, the keyboard does not show up. My keyboard still works, and I can type, but I can not change the font or the size of the text. The same thing happens if I import a document (pdf) with text. I am sure that this is my mistake, but I could not find a post to explain this.

No, that's not a mistake. The on screen keyboard is only shown when there is no real keyboard present. There is a small toolbar visible at the bottom to control the player and add some tags.
