I’m wanting to start sending a few midi cc to my helix, not needing much at this stage, but here and there where it’s hard to look down to press the right button, I’ll want to send a msg to the helix to switch on or off a specific effect.

I’m kinda lost with what’s in need to input.

I’ve set a specific effect to accept cc4 and another cc5.
What do I need to input please 🙏?

Essentially you can do it in 2 ways. You can send a midi message upon song load so it changes to whatever preset (PC change) or CC you want you would enter your syntax like this [midi: CC4@1] (1 is an example midi channel but you will need to set this depending on whatever midi channel your helix is set to).
Or you can send a timed midi message during a song in which case your midi syntax will look like this [midi@01:40.00: CC4@1] this CC message will be sent at 1 min 40 secs for example.
Id only recommend doing the latter if you play to a click or if you have a very good drummer who can keep to the timing of the song or you run the risk of that change happening before or after you actually need it. Hope that helps/makes sense.
