Posting here because this crowd will hopefully understand what I'm talking about 🙂
I'm using StageTraxx for backing tracks from an iPad. The backing tracks go out Channels 15/16 to a PreSonus Studiolive 16R.
inputs 1-12 on the Studiolive are used for instruments, and have specific channel settings (like gate, compression, etc). These are all set to use the analog ports on the front of the unit.
During intermission, I want to open the Music app and play a playlist. However system audio like YouTube and Music go out Ch 1 and 2, these inputs are already used on my mixer. If I change the settings to send USB to CH 1/2 they use the drum input channels and have gate, compression, eq, etc. All which I'd have to change. So this isn't very feasible.
Is it possible to change the iPad system audio to send to a different USB channel when plugged into an interface that supports lots of channels?
(I tried using Audiobus, but doesn't seem like this will help)
