BT Midi from ST3 through Ampero to QC?

I have this setup:

ST3 with some midi commands to switch to a particular patch
ST3 connected to the Ampero Control MIDI footswitch controller via BT
MIDI Out from Ampero Control to Quad Cortext

I want to send some commands from ST3 in the lyrics editor to change a QC patch. I tested out one and it doesn't work (nothing changes). But if I do the same commands directly on the Ampero it works.

Am I doing something wrong? Shouldn't this work just by the nature of MIDI daisy chaining?

bens not necessarily. Depends how you have it set up. Are you sending the midi message to the QC via the ampero or direct to the QC? If the former does the ampero have a midi thru setting?
If the latter, are you connected to it within settings on ST and have set the midi channel accordingly on the QC

The QC only gets midi from a cable going from the midi out on the Ampero to the MIDI in on the QC.

The Ampero is connected via BT to ST3 on the iPad.

It does have MIDI Through, however I don't know if this works via BT or only via in the MIDI In port.

bens just had a look at the manual and you’re right, it doesn’t support receiving/transferring messages via Bluetooth.
So you would probably be best getting a widi master for the QC (I do the same) and sending messages directly from ST to the QC.
