Count-In Issue (Extra Bars Added)

I have an odd issue with one song consisting of a set of stems that I'm assigning to multiple tracks in ST3. I'm downloading the stems from Karaoke Version with no intro. I then load them into my DAW (BandLab), trimming the stems and adding a two-bar intro track to the click. The playback in BandLab is perfect. Two measures, and then everything kicks in on measure 3.

When I complete the work in BandLab, I download the stems from BandLab as .wav files to iCloud - in this case, there are five stems (1, Click, 2, Bass, 3. Rthm Gtr, 4. Acoustic, and 6. Merged.). I'm assigning the wav files to the corresponding tracks in ST3. Track 5 in ST3 is empty.

Here is the odd part, when I play the stems in ST3, there is an additional two intro measures appended to the beginning of the song for a total of four bars. Everything starts on time in measure 5!

I've set up nearly ten songs following the same method and do not have this issue. They all mirror the song in BandLab and play as expected with a two-measure count-in in ST3. Nothing is appended when I play the WAV files outside of ST3, and they are good with the 2-measure intro.

I've deleted the project in the BandLab, created a new one from scratch, re-downloaded the stems from Karaoke version, deleted the song in ST3, and created a new one - the same issue occurs!

I skipped this song and worked on another project; everything worked as expected! Two count-in measures, and the music kicks in on measure 3.

The song I have the double count in issue is Into the Mystic by Van Morrison.

Any help is appreciated!

Stage Traxx will just play the wave files. It only repeats sections if you define audio regions and set them to loop. But then you would need to turn off the loop to move on.

Try to mute the different tracks in Stage Traxx. That might give you a clue which one hase these additional bars.

Thanks for the quick response. 100% user error, and I take full responsibility. Track 3 was muted at the system level, and this particular song has two bars of guitar intro before the rest of the instruments come in at measure 5. Hence, it appeared there were four measures of click! I was losing my mind until you pointed me in the right direction.
