midi cc and program change to change registrations on tyros

Hi Peter thanks for a great program StageTraxx.
I am sending
[midi: cc0.0@0,cc32.2@1,pc0@1]
the cc 32 will change the registration and the pc0@1 will change the patch 1 to 8 inside the registration.
this works great up to 127 registration song files inside the folder of tyros, but I have 500 files in the folder.
is there any way to access more than 127 files inside of tyros folder.
it works flawlessly up to 127 but i want to access up to 500 files in same folder of tyros

Can you post what exactly the tyros excepts to receive as bank select messages?

Btw, there is shortcut notation for your example for all cases where CC0 has the value 0. Just write PC0.2@1

Hi Peter, a folder in tyros can hold 500 registrations and if viewed in list view each registration has a number in front of it. example 1,2,3,4.....up to 500. the cc32.number of registration here@1 will select that registration, this will work up to 127 but any number registration above that is not sent.

Yes I understand that but you need to look up in the tyros manual how to access registrations above 127 through midi. When you know which bank select messages to send, I can help you with writing that as Stage Traxx commands.

With MSB/LSB/ProgramChange all possible 500 Reg banks of a folder can be selected
(e.B. Song No. 000 xxx -. 499 xxx).
Add a 'Patch select' with following Parameters in Song-Setting for eample form StageTrax.
MSB LSB Programm corresponds
Change Song-Nr.
0 0 - 127 0 - 7 000 xxx - 127 xxx
1 0 - 127 0 - 7 128 xxx - 255 xxx
2 0 - 127 0 - 7 256 xxx - 383 xxx
3 0 - 127 0 - 7 384 xxx - 499 xxx
ProgramChange 0 - 7 respective switches the Reg-Places on 1 - 8
this might work if it could be sent by midi from stagetraxx

OK, so MSB and LSB are used to select songs and program changes are always 1-8 for the registrations? Weird approach.

To send MSB you use CC0. To send LSB you use CC32. So to select song 128 you send:

CC0.1@1, CC32.0@1, PC1@1
